Dilanthe Withanage was the Former Lecturer- University of Colombo, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Former ICT Consultant of the Ministry of Education who was responsible for the preparation of the National Policy for ICT Education and Introducing ICT as a subject in the school curriculum and Former ICT Program Specialist of ICT Agency of Sri Lanka who was one of the leading expert to set up the agency and was responsible for introducing various interesting programs such as e-society. He was one of the pioneers in training Sri Lankan journalists in ICT.
He established a Movement called in 1991 called " Computer Literacy for All By 2000" promoting Computer Literacy and English. He trained a large number of Sri Lankans including all staff at the Office of the President in 2003/4. He worked with all print, radio, web and TV media to promote ICT in Sri Lanka for last 18 years.. He had worked as a resource person to a large number of government and other institutes such as Center for Banking Studies, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Institute of Bankers (Chief Examiner-IT), Institute of Chartered Accountants,Vocational Training Authority, National Institute of Education, Worldview International Foundation, CIMA Sri Lanka,Colombo School of Politics and so on.
Currently he serves as a Board Member for various institutes such as National Youth Services Council (NYSC), Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology(SLIIT), HomeNet Sri Lanka, Worldview Sri Lanka, Java Sri Lanka. and so on. He was involved in designing of various web sites such Ministry of Education, Tsunami Operation Site at the Office of the President(CNO), web site for the Leader of the Opposition in 2003 ( www.mahindarajapakse,com).
He had published books on various subjects such as computing, development, education etc. He had traveled extensively participating in various international events on ICT4D, Education, Community Development, Home Based Workers etc..With his academic qualifications in ICT, Education and Development Studies and professional experience in diverse fields he is willing to lead Colombo Today Network to create a new media culture in the country. Currently he is full time engaged in regional project as the country project manager.)

Ruwan F. Guruge

Ruwan F. Guruge is a well known media personality in the country with diverse experience.
During the period of 1995-1998 Ruwan served as one of the Board Members of Nilwala Publications where he was the Editorial Consultant to "Mathota" monthly magazine. In 1997 Ruwan was the associate editor of weekend newspaper -"Irida". In 1998 he was appointed as the Coordinating Secretary (Media) to the Hon Minister of Media , Post and Telecommunication (1998-2000). During the same period he was the editorial consultant to "Paradeesaya" monthly youth magazine. During 2000-2001 he worked as the Coordinating Secretary (Information & Publicity) to Hon Minister of Urban Development, Construction, public Utilities, Housing & Sports. He served as one of the committee members appointed to look in to the reform of the Lakehouse in 2000.
During 2000-2001 he was the editorial consultant to "Sanvada", "Shirsha" and "Beauty" monthly magazines. In 2001 he was appointed as the Media Consultant - Special Media Center of the Government Media Department. In 2001 he was the Creative Director of the Free Media (Pvt) Ltd. He became the Publicity Office of the H.E. the President's Media Unit in 2002 where he was the key figure to establish that unit officially. During 2002-2004 he was the director editorial of "Nijabima" publications.
In 2002 he was the Public Relations Officer to the then Leader of the Opposition at the Parliament of Sri Lanka for a short time period. In the same period he served as one of the directors of Shakthi Publications coordinating "Dinakara" and "Thamial Adu".
During 2004-2005 he was the Media Secretary to the Minister of Ports and Aviation where he served as the Media Consultant to the Sri Lanka Ports Authority who was instrumental in establishing its Media Unit.
In 2006-2008 Ruwan functioned as the Director Editorial of "Mawbima" weekend national newspaper while serving as one of the directors of Mawbima Publications.
