2 gold for Lankan weightlifters at S. Asian Games

 

 

Weightlifters won Sri Lanka her first gold medals at the eleventh South Asian Games in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka today (Jan. 31).

Kamal Bandara bagged the first gold in the 56 kg weight category.

He lifted a total weight of 135 kg.

Chintana Vidanage won the second in the 69 kg weight category, by lifting 291 kg.
